Biography

Leong See Meng is the Senior Vice President, Strategy & Business, overseeing the Strategic Management, Core & Structured Business and Islamic Business Departments.

He has over 29 years of experience in banking and finance. His career in banking started in 1993 with Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation and has since worked for leading financial institutions such as Citibank, Deutsche Bank, National Bank of Abu Dhabi amongst others. He leads the Sustainability Committee at Cagamas and is on a constant lookout to promote sustainability practices, particularly in areas of affordable housing and capital market instruments.

See Meng is an accountant by training and banker by profession. He read Accounting at RMIT University, Melbourne and graduated with distinction in 1992 after which he completed the CPA programme with CPA Australia.
