Biography

Stephen King is HSBC’s Senior Economic Adviser and a successful author. His third book, Grave New World: The End of Globalisation and the Return of History, will be published in May 2017. His previous book, When the Money Runs out, was selected as a book of the year by the Financial Times, The Economist and The Times. In 2015, Stephen became an adviser to the House of Commons Treasury Committee. He is also on the Council of Management of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research. In his spare time, he plays the piano.
