Biography

Susan Urkevich, Managing Director, Head of Lending & Balance Sheet Transformation, HSBC. With more than 25 years’ financial services experience, Susan has an established track record in lending product risk management, product development and process re-engineering as well as risk weighted assets optimisation. Susan has worked in both London and Hong Kong having held a number of senior roles as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Corporates, Financials and Multinational Banking, COO Credit and Lending, COO Capital Financing EMEA and COO Infrastructure & Real Estate Group. Susan currently oversees a portfolio of transformation programmes for the Global Banking division of HSBC including the LIBOR Transition programme in addition to Basel III Reforms and an e2e lending transformation programme.
