Atul Sodhi

Biography

Atul is the Global Head of Debt Capital Markets CACIB and is based in Paris. In his present position Atul is responsible for the Origination of Debt Capital Markets business from issuers on a global basis. He heads a team of approximately 100 professionals based in key global financial centers. He assumed his current responsibilities in Nov 2019

Since March 2018, he has been based in Paris and was the Global Head of DCM for Corporates.

Prior to this Atul was based in Hong Kong.

In Hong Kong, Atul was the Head of the Debt Origination and Advisory for CACIB in the Asia Pacific region. He held this position from 2015 onwards. Atul was responsible for the Loan Syndications business of CACIB in the Asia Pac region from 2007 to 2015.

Atul has been the Chairman of the Asia Pacific Loan Markets Association (APLMA) 2012 – 2015, and Director on the Board of the Loan Market Association (LMA), London (2012 - 2016)

Prior to 2007, Atul was based in Mumbai, where he was the Head of Client Coverage and Origination for CACIB India.

Atul has worked for CACIB for the past 26 years.

He has a Master’s degree in Management studies with a specialization in Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Mumbai, India.
