Biography

• Tarek joined Crédit Agricole CIB’s London based Global Loan Syndication team as a Senior Originator with a focus on the Middle East and Africa in 2010. He is based in Dubai and looks after Crédit Agricole CIB’s Corporate Loan business.

• Prior to 2010, he had been a member of CA-CIB’s Global Islamic Banking team in Bahrain, where he focused on origination, new product development, and structuring for Financing, Debt Capital Markets, and Securitization.

• Tarek is well experienced is a seasoned banker, with a diverse experience in the GCC loan market, having played a leading role in a number high profile transactions for borrowers in the MEA region.

• Tarek has previously worked for Gulf International Bank and Arab Banking Corporation in Bahrain, and has over 22 years of experience in relationship management, and deal origination, structuring, and execution for the Middle East Region.

• Tarek is a graduate of the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
