Biography

Rawan Oueidat joined S&P Global as Associate Director in the EMEA Corporate Ratings team in March 2017, based in the Dubai office. Her portfolio includes Middle East credits across the oil and gas and chemical sectors in the region predominantly, along with transportation and investment holding companies. She was previously the primary analyst on packaging, business and consumer goods and capital goods in the region, as well as the GCC and Turkish telecom credits.

Additionally, Rawan has over ten years of corporate advisory and equity research experience covering the MENA region. Prior to this, Rawan was an Associate Director in the corporate advisory division of Commercial Bank of Dubai. Previously, she held equity research analyst roles covering the MENA telecom sector in leading regional financial institutions such as NBK Capital and SHUAA Capital.

Rawan holds a bachelor’s in business administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Finance from the American University of Beirut. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. Rawan is fluent in Arabic and English, and has a working knowledge of French.
