Philippe Dauba-Pantanacce is a senior economist, responsible for global geopolitical economic analysis, based in Paris, after a decade in London. He joined Standard Chartered in 2007 and was previously an economist covering the Middle East and Turkey, based out of Dubai.
Philippe is in close contact with policy makers, think-tanks and multilateral institutions, and comments regularly in global media.
Before joining SC, he worked for HSBC Asset Management in Paris and New York, for the French embassy in Washington, and in the US Congress.
He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s from University of Paris, Dauphine; a Master’s from Sciences-Po Paris and a Master’s from Columbia University in New York. He was recognised as one of the “Most Helpful Analysts in Emerging Markets” in 2021 by S&P’s Coalition Greenwich, a reference survey in the industry.
