Biography

–Marcelo Delmar is an international banker with over 30 years of experience in debt financing, risk management, structured products, and banking products. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Mens Sana Advisors and was Financial Advisor to the Argentina Creditor Committee in the Republic’s 2020 restructuring.

–During his career he executed over 400 transactions, amongst them some of the most innovative and important, winning 41 industry awards. Between 2020 and 2023 he worked for Morgan Stanley focusing on debt financing throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, winning several marquee transactions to achieve a #6 league table position in 2021.

–

–Marcelo joined BNP Paribas in 2009 to start its Latin American Debt Capital Markets business. During a decade at BNPP he executed over 178 transactions, moving the franchise from #23 to #5 in the league tables. During the prior decade Marcelo held similar responsibilities at UBS, repositioning the Swiss bank as a top 10 underwriter in the region. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Delmar was a Director at Credit Suisse First Boston where he was a significant contributor to the development of the Latin American franchise.

–Mr. Delmar received an M.A. in Economics from Universidad Nacional de La Plata in 1986 and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California Los Angeles in 1990.

–He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 24 licenses, as well as FCA UK SHF6 and SHF8.
