Biography

Fahad Kordi, CFA, is a seasoned treasury professional and the head of Investments and Debt Capital Markets at Banque Saudi Fransi. Throughout his tenure at BSF, he has accumulated experience across different areas in the global markets space. He currently oversees and manages the bank’s investment book, and market-makes in both local and international credit markets. Mr. Kordi also runs the bank’s medium term funding needs; managing to print two USD denominated public issuances at the tightest sovereign premium for any GCC FI issuer. He is also serving as an independent board member at Sukuk Capital, a leading DCM Fintech firm in Saudi Arabia and the first Saudi Fintech to cross the SAR 1 bln mark in issuances.

Mr. Kordi is a Chartered Financial Analyst and currently sits on the board of CFA Society Saudi Arabia. He holds an honorary degree of Master of Science in Finance and Investments from the University of Exeter, and holds an honorary degree of Bachelor in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Aberdeen.
