Biography

Fatima is Managing Director & Head of Loan Syndicate MENAP at Standard Chartered Bank. She has over 20 years of corporate banking and loan syndicate origination, execution and distribution experience with a specific focus on Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (“MENAP”) region. Fatima is responsible for Standard Chartered’s MENAP underwritings, primary syndications as well as portfolio management in secondary market across a full spectrum of structured products including project and export finance, transportation finance, commercial real estate, leveraged and acquisition finance and financing solutions as well as for vanilla lending across both investment grade and high yield credit space. Fatima joined Standard Chartered UAE in 2008 and prior to that was with Citibank N.A Pakistan. Fatima is a chartered accountant and qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
