Mark Waters

Biography

Mark began his career at RBS playing a key role in developing the international lending business across Corporates and FIs. In 2001 he joined the Loan Syndications team at BNP Paribas before being promoted to Head of Loan Origination for CEEMEA and then Head of DCM, Middle East which led to the establishment of a common debt platform linking syndicated loan and bond products. Mark returned to London in 2010 with dual roles of Head of African Loan Origination and Head of Energy and Commodities for EMEA. In 2013 he joined Wells Fargo in London as Head of Loan Origination EMEA for FIs prior to joining Banca IMI in 2018 as Head of Loan Capital Markets for EMEA focusing on Corporate and FI names as well as Structured Finance transactions across oil and gas and infrastructure projects. In December 2019, he moved to ICBC to take up his current role as Head of Global Loan Syndications and Debt Markets.
